Earthing

Premium Quality Sodium Bentonite is a moisture retaining clay used as an earth electrode back-fill to help lower soil resistivity. It is widely accepted for the purpose of improving ground conductance in electrical earthing as compare to salt and coal.

The clay is Sodium activated Montmorillonite, which when mixed with water swells to many times its original dry volume. Bentonite has the ability to hold its moisture content for a considerable period of time and to absorb moisture from the surrounding soil.
